Minibus service to St. James’s
Travel should be the least of your worries when undergoing cancer treatment.
Our free minibus to St James Hospital, Leeds service aims to take all of this worry away and make the journey to the hospital a pleasant one. Contact us today to get signed up.
Respite breaks
We all need to get away from it all sometimes – whether we’re going through treatment or looking after a loved one. Take a little time out with a stay at one of our properties in Filey or Yapham.
The Leveson Centre
The Leveson Centre, a support centre for people living with cancer, is now open at York Community Stadium in Huntington. The Centre offers free complementary therapy sessions to patients who are three months post-treatment, and a warm environment to pop in for a cuppa and a chat.
Mobile chemotherapy unit
When hospital appointments are challenging, you can count on our mobile chemotherapy unit, which provides treatment closer to home in York and Malton, Scarborough, Bridlington and Selby.
Exercise Classes
At York Against Cancer, we believe that following a healthy lifestyle and maintaining a healthy weight is important for everyone, particularly for cancer patients. Whatever stage of treatment you’re at, we can help you improve your wellbeing.
Support Groups
We regularly partner with other organisations who can help those living with cancer. That’s why we’re always updating our database of local cancer support groups in Yorkshire to make sure you have somebody to talk to.
