The Leveson Centre shortlisted for The Press Business Awards 2022

30 Nov 2022

Our brand new Cancer Support Centre, The Leveson Centre, was shortlisted for the Business Innovation of the Year Award at the York Press Business Awards 2022.

This Award recognised businesses that are bringing about change for the better by the application of new thinking and ideas.
Innovation could be from the application of creativity to new or better products or services, better ways of working that have produced great results, and investing in research and development.
On this occasion the team didn’t take home the trophy, however, to be recognised for the work being undertaken at The Leveson Centre before it even opens it’s doors is a fantastic step forward for the charity.
Julie Russell, CEO of York Against Cancer said: ‘To reach the finals for this Award is something we are all very proud of here at York Against Cancer. The Leveson Centre is being developed to support everyone, whether you are going through cancer yourself or have friends or family that have been touched by it. We hope it will bring support to people from around the region for many years to come.”
