We’re on the lookout for a Fundraising Events Volunteer to help support our awareness and fundraising drives!

Role description
Are you passionate about making a difference to the lives of people affected by cancer? Would you like to be part of a dedicated team that is working to raise awareness and funds for York Against Cancer? Join us as a Fundraising Events Volunteer!
What you’ll be doing
Working closely with the Fundraising & Marketing team, you will help to support the planning, organisation, and delivery of our fundraising and awareness events. This includes:
- Helping to prepare and put back merchandise and marketing materials for fundraising and awareness events
- Attending fundraising and awareness events to share information about the services available through York Against Cancer
- Collecting collection tins from across the York area and re-labelling them for re-use
- Reviewing quantities of charity merchandise
- Delivering merchandise and posters to key locations across York
- Keeping the stockroom clear and tidy
- Posting letters from the charity
- Event and project research

Hours: This is a flexible, ongoing role that can fit around your schedule. We are ideally looking for volunteers who can volunteer on a regular basis.
Location: York (York Community Stadium) with occasional travel

Driving Licence required? Preferred
Volunteer’s own vehicle required? Preferred
