York Against Cancer has been funding research in the JBU since 1995, digging into the causes, treatment and prevention of bladder cancer. Now led by Professor Will Brackenbury, the JBU is ever expanding its cancer research programme to significantly enhance clinical impact for cancer patients.
The unit’s ground-breaking work on bladder cancer models is continuing to make huge strides in the sector, as seen in this latest research by Hinley et al, under the directorship of Professor Jenny Southgate. To find out more about this latest breakthrough, click here.
