York Against Cancer is a local charity helping local people affected by cancer. We provide care and support for patients and their families as well as fund invaluable research projects in York, North and East Yorkshire. All our work is funded by donations and fundraising and, thanks to the support of individuals, groups, schools, organisations and businesses, we have raised more than £20 million over the last 37 years.

We are actively seeking new Trustees to join our Board.  We are especially looking for individuals with expertise in Education, Human Resources and Business but all applications are welcome. The current Board is made up of a small group of dynamic individuals, with a variety of experiences and backgrounds, committed to ensuring York Against Cancer evolves and is fit for the future. The Board meets, in person, four times a year.
