Light a light on the York Against Cancer Christmas tree.

Once again this Christmas we invite you to help us illuminate our Christmas tree by sponsoring a light in memory of a loved one. The tree will be blessed and the lights illuminated at our carol service which will be held on 9th December 2023 at 2pm in the foyer of York Community Stadium in Huntington.
To Light a Light on the tree in memory of someone special, we ask for a donation of a minimum of £5 for each name. You will receive a card in memory of your loved one(s), with their names written inside. The name of each person will also be written into our Book of Remembrance which will be kept at The Leveson Centre at York Community Stadium from the carol service date onward. The book will also be available to view on our website.

The last date to sponsor a light has now passed. Keep an eye on our website for information on our 2024 Light a Light ceremony.
Paper light-a-light forms have been posted with our Autumn newsletter, if you haven’t received a printed form, you can collect one from our office, or gift shops at York Community Stadium or York Hospital.
We rely on donations to support the ongoing running costs of services such as the brand-new Leveson Centre, minibus service, our respite home in Filey, the mobile chemotherapy unit and world-leading research into cancer.
