Volunteering
Our volunteers are invaluable in ensuring we can continue to support cancer patients and their loved ones for a long time to come. There are a whole host of ways in which you can volunteer with us, and we’ll make sure to find the right fit for you. Whether you can spare time on a regular basis, or just every now and then, every little helps!
Some of our volunteering opportunities include:
- Helping in our gift shops
- Volunteering in our cancer support centre, The Leveson Centre
- Marshalling at events
- Baking for events
- Helping with street collections
- Helping set up and run events
If you are interested in volunteering for York Against Cancer, please complete our online volunteer’s sign-up form. Alternatively, you can give us a call on 01904 764 466, email office@yorkagainstcancer.org.uk, or collect one of our paper application forms from our office at York Community Stadium.
We will provide you will full training to ensure you can be successful in your volunteer role.
