Privacy Policy
Your privacy is important to us. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully, in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003 (data protection laws).
We collect information about you for two reasons only. Firstly, to process your order and secondly, to provide you with the best possible service. The information we collect about you includes your name, address, telephone number, email address and account details. In no circumstances do we collect any data that is not directly related to the use of the website. The information we hold is to the best of our ability up to date, accurate and based solely upon information we receive from you. We will not disclose any information about you to any third parties except where this is necessary to fulfil our service to you (e.g. arranging for delivery of your goods).
If you would like to inspect the data that we hold about you, please write to our Data Manager at the address provided in clause 6 “How to Contact Us”, enclosing proof of identification, a stamped addressed envelope and a cheque for £10 (made payable to York Against Cancer) to cover administration costs.
We will not contact you in the future unless you have given us permission to do so.
