11th York Against Cancer Model Railway Exhibition.

Where & When

Date: Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 February 2023.

Time: Saturday 10am – 5pm and Sunday 10am – 4pm

Location: Holy Trinity Church Hall, Heworth, YO31 0RP

The Model Railway Exhibition held by The EBOR Group of Railway Modellers in York will be held at Heworth Church Hall on Melrosegate on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 February 2023.

Eleven layouts of various gauges will be running and will include Children’s interactive OO gauge layout – THE ROWNTREE HALT.

Local railway preservation group – The Derwent Valley Light Railway Group – will be present as will Model Rail Magazines Mr. Paul Lunn who will be designing the next model railway.

Last August THE ROWNTREE HALT and members of The EBOR Group of Railway Modellers in York were on TV on Channel 4’s ‘HOBBY MAN’ programme. You will be able to see THE ROWNTREE HALT (which was featured on the program) in action at the fundraising event in February.

Food and drinks are available.

There will be a Tombola and an EBOR Group second-hand sales stand for anyone interested in a railway modelling bargain.

The show is opened by the Right Honourable Lord Mayor of York accompanied by the York’s Civic Party.
