Classic Car Show Fundraiser – Langlands Garden Centre

It’s throttle to the floor for one of the regions best loved Classic Car Shows as organisers battle to relaunch the popular event after last year’s cancellation – due to Covid.

John Ducker from Weighton Wolds Rotary Club who is organising the event said  “Over recent years our classic car show has raised thousands of pounds for local charities and this year all profits will be going to local cancer charity York Against Cancer.

If you have a classic car we would really love to hear from you.”

The show, which is free to both exhibitors and visitors, will be held at Langlands Garden Centre, Shiptonthorpe over the August bank holiday weekend – Sunday 29 and Monday 30 August from 10am to 4pm.

Pop a donation in one of the collection buckets to gain entry – there will be a tombola and a raffle – and teas, coffees and cake served at the garden centre café.
