Army Day draws crowds

The weather could not make up its mind - but that did not deter the thousands of local people who enjoyed a day of exciting parade ground displays from battle re-enactments to helicopter landings - all part of the Army in Yorkshire Open Day at Imphal Barracks, Fulford on July 18th.

It was another great day for the charity to meet local people and talk to them about the work we do - and we raised money too - £236.63 - mainly thanks to a tombola organised by Betty and Ken Wreglesworth.

The previous weekend, we made our first attendance at the annual party in Rownetree Park - another excellent meet and greet opportunity.
