collections raise cash!

The generosity of Yorkshire folk is amazing... despite these difficult times, our collections at Sainsbury’s Monks Cross and in York City Centre, produced a magnificent result.
The collections were not at our usual times of the year... but they both proved extremely successful. The Sainsbury collection resulted in a fine total of £534.71 and the street collection £2009.82 - a truly fantastic effort in the present economic climate.
A massive thank you to Shepherd Group Concert Band who entertained the crowds at St Samson’s Square (see photo) - and to Derrick Lund from Skeldergate who collected outside Marks & Spencer all day! Wheelchair-bound Derrick is a well known fundraisier in the York area.
