Our Sun Aware campaign enters its fourth year with an ambitious programme to deliver sun hats and the sun aware message to all junior schools in York and the surrounding area.
Hats will be available for all reception classes (and others by arrangement) and we will either come to the school to give a brief talk to the children, or deliver the hats along with an explantory leaflet.
The distribution of hats will begin in May - and we will also give away hats at public events including Army in York open day at Fulford Barracks on Saturday July 18, Rowntree Park Party on Sunday 12 July and Sutton and Huby Show on Sunday 26 July.
